Summary, etc. | "This book is a collection of essential Arabic vocabulary for diplomacy and international relations. Similar in nature to our "The Top 1,300 Words for Learning Media Arabic," this book is designed to provide students and learners a targeted list of vocabulary on a key topic. The words/phrases are arranged by ten thematic subtopics, allowing learners to hone in on key terms that are most useful for them. Each chapter contains roughly one hundred of the most frequently used words, based on the authors' database and the authors' teaching knowledge. The authors selected the words for the database based on their experiences teaching Arabic in this area and culled from publications or all kinds--print and video. One of the authors is a professor at SFS-Qatar and the other is the author of our media Arabic vocabulary. This book is a copub with Edinburgh University Press, with whom we partnered on the media Arabic vocabulary. We would have NA rights"-- |
