<br/><br/> Publication of the Tomb of Iniuia, Overseer of the Cattle of Amun and High Steward of Memphis under King Tutankhamun. The tomb was excavated by the Joint Expedition of the Egypt Exploration Society and the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden at Leiden, Netherlands. The superstructure consists of a courtyard with two chapels decorated with wall paintings and reliefs which show Iniuia officiating before the gods of the Hereafter, but also together with his wife and children. In other scenes Iniuia is represented performing various activities in his capacity of a high official of the king. The art style of the representations is reminiscent of the art of Amarna. There are also chapters dealing with the objects found in the excavation, the pottery (by Barbara Greene Aston) and the skeletal remains (by Eugen Strouhal).
